About PCNSL

Primary central nervous system lymphoma, or PCNSL, is a rare form of primary central nervous system cancer, accounting for only 2%–3% of cases. It occurs when certain immune cells, called lymphocytes, behave abnormally in the brain, eyes, or spinal cord and form tumors.Footnote1 This can cause many symptoms, including headaches, nausea, vomiting, cognitive deficits, personality changes, behavioral changes, vision problems, digestive issues, and limb pain or weakness.

Currently, there is no drug therapy specifically approved to treat PCNSL in the US or Europe. The treatments that are used instead may be effective at first, but many individuals experience challenging side effects, and the disease often comes back or does not respond to the treatment.

IGNITE is researching an investigational study drug. It is designed to address PCNSL specifically, and researchers are evaluating if the investigational study drug may help stop disease progression and learning about its safety.
